• "Testing doesn't give you correct code, but confidence."

* This is a list of opinions, my opinions to be precise. I had the though of creating this section when it became clear to me that sometimes discussions are based on the notion that everybody had the same understanding of a certain circumstance which is not true for some situations; and in software for most situations. With every year in the industry we programmers also seem to stick to information and to opinions which in some cases are no longer valid or even relevant, therefore it seems helpful to have a list of information which we base our knowledge on; and to iterate on this list to keep it relevant. I expect this list to be a colorful bunch, factual in the best case, philoshopical in the worst, but nonetheless something to keep me honest, and maybe provide help for others.
